Introduction to Linguistics is a course designated or L1 students at the department of English at Mohammed Boudiaf Misila 1 University. The course discusses briefly the importance of language and dialect studies, the difference between Traditional Grammar and the evolvement towards Modern Linguistics, and finallly it goes through the main branches of Linguistics.
